Füle: EU to continue negotiations with Ukraine as soon as Ukraine is ready for this

European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle states that the EU will continue negotiations with Ukraine as soon as Ukraine is ready for this.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this, delivering speech at business forum in Vilnius on the eve of the Eastern Partnership Summit.

“It is so pity that such decision (suspension of preparation for signing of agreement – UNIAN) was made. It was a unique opportunity to make an irreversible trend of investment to Ukraine”, - said Füle.

According to his words, Association Agreement was given to Ukraine and its citizens in order to have possibility of modernization of the country and inflowing of investment.
