Participants of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius adopted a joint declaration, where they note “unprecedented public support” of political association and economic integration of Ukraine with the European Union.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, participants of Vilnius summit take into consideration the decision of the Ukrainian government to suspend a preparation process and signing of Association Agreement and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade with the EU.
“They also take into consideration unprecedented public support of political association and economic integration of Ukraine with the European Union”, it is said in the declaration.
“The EU and Ukraine stress their adhesion to signing of this Agreement on the basis of decisive actions, considerable progress in three areas that were mentioned at Ukraine-EU Summit in 2013. As of today a considerable progress has already been reached”, it is noted in the document.
