A flag of the European Union was hoisted at a flagstaff of Kyiv City Council.
The ceremony took place in accordance with a decision of the Meeting of Kyiv citizens that is taking place in the building of KCSA, the press service of Kyiv City State Administration disclosed this to UNIAN.
According to the words of initiators of the ceremony, members of the presidium of general Meeting, the flag of the European Union should have been hoisted from since the first day of EuroMaidan in a sigh of belonging of Kyiv city to the European community and stressing European choice of Kyiv citizens.
Now, before the entrance to KCSA you can see the state flag of Ukraine, flag of the OUN (the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists), flag of Kyiv and flag of the EU, noted the Batkivshchyna.
