By freezing temperatures young Ukrainians write new history of Europe – Barroso

President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso highly estimated a fortitude of young participants of the EuroMaidans, having said that they are writing a new history of Europe and confirming an importance of the European values.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Barroso said this in Milan, visiting the place of future of world exhibition Expo-2015, spokesperson for the European Commission Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen.

“It shows how important the European values are. Just look at Ukraine. These young people at the streets of Ukraine by freezing temperatures are writing a new history of Europe”, the spokesperson cited the statement of Barroso.
