The United States expressed its disgust with the decision of the Ukrainian authorities to use force towards peaceful protest in Kyiv at night from Tuesday on Wednesday.

It is said in the statement of United States Secretary of State John Kerry.

“The Unites States expresses its disgust with the decision of the Ukrainian authorities to meet peaceful protest in Kyiv’s Maidan Square with riot police, bulldozers, and batons, rather that with respect for democratic rights and human dignity”, - it is said in the statement.

“This response is neither acceptable nor does it benefit a democracy”, it is said in the statement, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
