President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych assures U.S. Senators that the authorities will do everything possible to ensure rights of citizens for peaceful demonstrations and to carry out fair and transparent investigation of events on November 30, 2013 at Maidan Nezhalezhnosti in Kyiv.
The press service of the President of Ukraine disclosed to UNIAN that it was said during the meeting of Yanukovych with United States Senator John McCain and United States Senator Christopher Murphy.
The sides discussed a wide range of issues of foreign policy of Ukraine. The President stressed again an invariability of European integration course of Ukraine and adherence to the national interests of the country.
The sides agreed to continue dialogue, it is said in the report.
