Rybak opens and closes sitting of parliament

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak opened a sitting of the parliament and closed it.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, from the presidium blocked by opposition Rybak asked lawmakers to register. Only 217 lawmakers registered in the session hall, and it is necessary 226 lawmakers for making decisions.

In spite of that, Rybak announced about opening of the sitting of the parliament, he invited leaders of the factions to his office for carrying out of consultations.

After that the Speaker noted that due to impossibility of further work of the VR, he closes today’s sitting.

At the same time opposition lawmakers continue blocking the presidium and rostrum.
