Today’s agenda of the sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stipulates consideration of the draft resolution on creation of an Interim Investigating Commission of the VR on investigation of illegal actions of the law-enforcement bodies and other officials, encroachments on rights and freedoms, life and health of citizens during the events connected with mass actions of public-political protest that have been taking place in Ukraine since November 21, 2013.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, this issue is at the end of the list of the agenda.
At the same time the first issues that the parliament is to consider today are: taking the oath by the lawmakers of Ukraine; schedule of the sittings of the VR on January 14-17; a draft resolution on calendar plan of carrying out of the 4th session of the VR of the 7th convocation.
Among other issues of the agenda there is also a draft law on number of Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2014 and a range of other draft laws on ratification of international agreements.
