U.S. Ambassador expresses concern about how voting took place in VR today

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt expressed concerning about the fact how the voting on some laws took place in the Verkhovna Rada today.

He wrote this in Twitter.

“I am concerned about the way some laws were voted on in parliament today”, wrote the U.S. Ambassador.

Also Pyatt added that “Norms should be adopted through proper procedures and respond to criteria of proper legislation. Otherwise the credibility of democratic institutions and of the legal system is at stake”.
