About hundred of activists are at Hrushevskogo Street in Kyiv
There are about one hundred of activists at Hrushevskogo Street in Kyiv, where a confrontation among law-enforcement officers and protesters keep on going from Sunday, January 19.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, they are beating out a rhythm on handmade drums made from dumpsters, barrels and metal parts of the fences.
Protesters disassembled a considerable part of paving blocks at Hrushevskogo Street near the Parliamentary Library and the stadium n.a. Valeriy Lobanovskyi during the night of confrontation. A part of stones they have stored for the case of storm, having placed them in small piles. Moreover, protesters have brought a part of stones to a park, near the Puppet Theater. Protesters built the fires and they are warming themselves near it.
Despite the fact that nobody is storming the files of law-enforcement officers, a fire hydrant is working continually from the militia side, water from it is hitting the burnt buses and is streaming down into sewage.
At the neutral territory – between burnt buses and files of militia – a huge layer of ice was formed because militia employees were watering the road all the night.
There are about 100 people before the stage at Maidan Nezhalezhnosti.
