The self-defense of the Maidan does not know anything about plans of Afghan veterans to leave the Maidan.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, lawmaker from the Batkivshchyna, commandant of the Maidan Andriy Parubiy said this at press conference in the Trade Unions House, commenting on announcement of press conference in Kyiv on topic: “Afghan veterans: why do we leave the Maidan”.

According to the words of Parubiy, head of the subdivision of Afghan veterans were present at the meeting of Self-defense yesterday. “Issue on leaving the Maidan was not even mentioned, on contrary – we spoke about fulfillment of the next tasks, that is why this information is rather strange for me”, - he noted.
