According to an UNIAN correspondent, dozens of young men tried to break through to Mariinskiy Park, but about 200 members of the Self-Defense of Maidan lined up crosswise Hrushevsky Street in order to repulse. They started dismantling paving blocks from the pavement.

The Self-Defense of Maidan undertook active actions and started to force out these young people in the direction to the metro, throwing smoke pellets and firecrackers.
