Verkhovna Rada prolonged its work for a week
The session will be closed on Jan 25
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine prolonged for a week the first session of the parliament of VI convocation.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, 374 lawmakers, out of 446 registered in the session hall, voted “for” adopting the respective decree on introducing amendments into the schedule of the first session of the Verkhovna Rada.
The decree stipulates that on January 16-17, lawmakers will work in committees and factions, and on January 18 a plenary session will be held.
On January 21-24, lawmakers will work in committees and factions, and on January 25 the first session will be closed.
