President of the PACE Anne Brasseur said this today during the telephone talk with Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, the press service of the VR disclosed this to UNIAN.

“We welcome the changes that are happening in Ukraine”, she said, having assured Turchynov that the PACE will support the new authorities in their intentions to protect, strengthen and reform the country.

In his turn, Turchynov underscored that the new power continues to take measures for stabilization of the situation in Ukraine.
