Japan imposes sanctions against Russia due to the actions in Crimea and does not recognize the referendum in Crimea.
Spokesperson for the government of Japan said this on Tuesday, March 18, DW reports.
“Recognition of independence of Crimea by Russia violates sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”, - he underscored.
Due to this case the government of Japan suspends the talks with Russia in investment agreement and facilitation of visa regime, Reuters reports.
