Leaders of the EU and USA to discuss issue of Ukraine at summit in Brussels on March 26

An issue of Ukraine in context of stability and energy security will be discussed at summit EU-USA, which will take place in Brussels, on March 26.

According to an own UNIAN correspondent in Brussels, high-ranking European diplomat disclosed this to journalists.

According to his words, President of the USA Barack Obama, President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy and President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso will take part in the summit.

“The leaders of the EU and USA will discuss three blocks of topic: economy, international stability and security, and also global challenges. They will want to discuss a topic of Ukraine as very important element of discussion of international stability and security. Today we see a very close cooperation between the EU and the USA in issue concerning Ukraine, and also “Eastern partnership”, Balkans, Middle East and talks concerning Iran, ect”, said the diplomat.

He also noted the leaders of the USA and EU will pay special attention to a topic concerning energy security.
