The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported a resolution on appointment of Mykhaylo Koval for the post of acting Defense Minister of Ukraine.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 251 out of 314 lawmakers registered in the session hall voted for this decision.

16 lawmakers from the Party of Regions and no lawmakers from the CPU voted for this decision.

As UNIAN reported earlier, before that the VR had supported the resignation of Ihor Tenyukh from the post of acting Defense Minister of Ukraine.
