Discharged by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from post of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych confirmed that he had asked President of Russia Vladimir Putin to use troops of Russia “for protection of lives of citizens of Ukraine”.
He said this in an interview to “Dozhd” television channel.
