President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso announced that the European Commission created a group of support of Ukraine, which will render technical assistance and give recommendations to Ukraine in carrying out of wide reforms.
According to an own UNIAN correspondent in Brussels, it is said in the special statement of Barroso, who stressed a readiness of the EU to do its best for Ukraine to become a successful modern state.
"Today, the Commission created a group of support of Ukraine. A goal of this group is to help and to support Ukraine - not only in financial way, but also by a technical assistance. It is important to support reforms - both political and economic - for Ukraine to become a strong, independent, modern country "- said Barroso.
