“Contrary to the Constitution, the existing legislation, illegal actions are committed against thousands of professionals, people with respective education and experience. These are nothing but political repression against people with certain political views. It is contrary to principles of democracy, legal state, and civil society”, the document authors claim.

In particular, according to the statement, under pretext of “absolutely far-fetched reasons”, they sacked deputy Emergency Minister Vladyslav Telychko, deputy Agricultural Minister Vasyl Humeniuk, deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Liudmyla Lukinova, deputy chief of the Pension Fund Ivan Leshchenko, deputy State Fishing Committee chief Arkadiy Fylymonov.

The Socialist Party demands the Prosecutor’s General Office to “stop the legal outrage in Ukraine, and to restore the Law and Order”.

Besides, the Socialists turn to the President, the Verkhovna Rada, the government, parliaments of world democratic states, international organizations, and Ukrainian society, with a call to support their demands.
