Acting President of Ukraine, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov instructed the Interior Ministry of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine (the SBU) to carry out an investigation concerning an attempt on mayor of Kharkiv Hennadiy Kernes’ life immediately.
