Elections to take place on May 25, as it was scheduled – MFA

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine states that any initiatives concerning carrying over a date of the presidential elections are directed to destabilization of the situation in Ukraine.

Director of Information Policy Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Yevgeniy Perebiynis said this at press conference, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

“We do not accept any initiatives concerning carrying over of the elections scheduled for May 25. Elections will take place as it was planned”, - said Perebiynis.

According to his words, such initiatives are directed to destabilization of the situation in Ukraine.
