Deputy Head of the Secretariat Olexandr Chalyy informed that President Victor Yushchenko has signed  directives for working visit of Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko to the Kingdom of Belgium, which is scheduled on January 28-29, according to the President`s press-office.

O. Chalyy reminded that according to Constitution President coordinates external policy therefore his directives are obligatory for all officials who are authorized to represent our country abroad.

One of the main objectives before governmental delegation during the talks with representatives of the EU and NATO is informing them on priorities of Cabinet’s of Ministers work and Ukraine-NATO Target Plan implementation. Bilateral cooperation aspects such as economic cooperation, energy policy, and possibility of introduction of visa-free order for Ukrainian citizens by the EU are to be discussed as well, particularly within the scope of Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations. During the meeting with NATO Secretary General Prime Minister shall also rise a question of potential Ukrainian latest incentives discussion during Bucharest NATO Summit.

After returning from Brussels Prime Minister is to inform President on the results of the visit.
