According to an UNIAN correspondent, Victor Yanukovych claimed this at a meeting with U.S. Assistant State Secretary Daniel Fried.

Victor Yanukovych noted that Ukraine has many achievements, and, despite the political cirisis, which occurred in 2007, “we managed to keep the economics”.
