Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov is sure that law-enforcement employees will succeed in ensuring of calmly carrying out of presidential elections in all oblasts of Ukraine scheduled on May 25.

Avakov is sure that elections to take place calmly

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this during a conference call with participation of heads of regions under chairmanship of Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

Avakov added that a special control regime over voting will take place in Luhansk and Donetsk Oblast and in other regions, concerning which the Interior Ministry has information about possible provocations and breakdown of elections. According to his words, the Interior Ministry has operative and tactical plans concerning these oblasts.
