President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory telegram to Petro Poroshenko on occasion of his election for post of President of Ukraine, TSN.ua reports.

“Chinese party attaches great importance to development of relations with Ukraine and is about to promote together on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit bilateral business cooperation in all areas for the benefit of two countries and its peoples”, - Xi Jinping wrote in the telegram.
