On the air of Russian state-run television channel “Russia-24” Pushylin said that tanks “give hope to protect the city”. At the same time he noted that for negotiations with authorities of Ukraine “they need guarantees from mediators, from our the most serious mediator – the RF”.

Pushylin also said about necessity of bringing into the region “a peacemaking contingent”.
