EU to expand sanctions of second phase against Russia due to situation in Ukraine

Committee of Permanent Representatives of EU Member States (COREPER) today plans to expand the sanctions of the second phase, in deciding who is to be included in the list of persons banned from entering the EU and whose assets will be frozen in connection with the situation in Ukraine.

Interior Service of the EU disclosed to an own UNIAN correspondent that the sitting of COREPER will begin in the afternoon and the decision will be made in the evening.
