Only after the NATO issue is solved, he said

The work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will be unblocked tomorrow only after the issues of NATO and the conflict between Interior Minister Lutsenko and Kyiv Mayor Chernovetskiy are solved.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Party of Regions faction leader Victor Yanukovych claimed this to journalists today.

He stressed that only solving these issues gives an opportunity to unblock the parliament.

Asked by journalists whether President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will deliver his annual speech in the parliament at first, and after that lawmakers will consider the mentioned-above issues, Victor Yanukovych pointed out that at first these issues must be solved, and only after that the President may deliver his speeches.

Victor Yanukovych emphasized that the conflict between Lutsenko and Chernovetskiy is the “problems of ethics of personally Lutsenko and the authorities as a whole”. “Let them and Lutsenko himself decide what to do”, the Party of Regions leader added.
