Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk doubts that he may be dismissed from the post, considering the current situation.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the Speaker claimed this to journalists today.

A.Yatseniuk called on all political forces to submit a draft decree on his resignation.

“There are many talks, let them act and show what they can do”, A.Yatseniuk claimed.

He stressed that, instead of adopting vitally important laws, in particular, concerning state purchases, new living wage, “they are busy with the devil knows what”.

He stressed it is necessary to submit for the consideration the draft decree on the dismissal of the Verkhovna Rada Speaker, and added: “I want to see how they will manage to gather 226 votes”.

 

“I doubt that they may dismiss the Verkhovna Rada Speaker in the current situation”, A.Yatseniuk claimed.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Party of Regions faction leader Victor Yanukovych claimed on February 6 he does not rule out that A.Yatseniuk may be dismissed from the post of the Speaker.

Meanwhile, according to President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, on February 7 OU-PSD block adherents joined the initiative on collecting signatures for Yatseniuk’s resignation.
