“We’re seeing a decrease in the intensity [of attacks], and only the patchy resumption of some skirmishes,” NSDC Information and Analytical Center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, an UNIAN correspondent reports.

“We’re now seeing a decrease in the intensity of fire, as artillery pieces and Grad multiple rocket launchers are being used less, and fewer areas and checkpoints are exposed to shelling,” Lysenko said.

“This is important,” he said.
