Ukraine has appointed a new ambassador to Singapore / REUTERS

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Kateryna Zelenko as Ukraine's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Singapore.

Corresponding decree No. 498/2020 is available on the presidential website.

The decree is dated November 13.

On July 22, Zelensky dismissed Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Singapore, Brunei Darussalam and New Zealand.

Zelenko is a career diplomat and has been working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2002. She worked at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Austria and the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the International Organizations in Vienna. Also, she twice worked at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Federal Republic of Germany. In 2018, she took the position of the press secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
