Ukraine's ruling party to name nominee for Kyiv mayor's post in late July
Chairman of the Servant of the People faction in Ukraine's parliament David Arakhamia says the party will name its nominee for the post of Kyiv's mayor no earlier than the end of July.
"You'll hear [the information about] the results and nominees in the official format at the end of next month," he told journalists on June 18.
According to Arakhamia, by that time all the nominees "will have been preparing and working for the party's rating."
As UNIAN reported earlier, local polls to elect members of village, town, city, district, and regional councils are scheduled for October 25 along with the election of village, town and city mayors.
