Oleg Tsulia, Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, has confirmed support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The statement came during Tsulia's joint online briefing with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv, an UNIAN correspondent reports.

"We discussed security issues regarding the settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine and the Crimean issue. We reaffirmed Moldova's support for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders," said Tsulia.

Separately, he expressed gratitude to Ukraine for its support "in the context of identifying a number of sustainable solutions in the process of the Transnistrian settlement."
