Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, Dmytro Razumkov says lawmakers plan to consider a bill on the national referendum on Thursday, June 18.
"I think that we will consider a reduction in deadlines [for consideration of the bill between its first and second readings] on Tuesday. Later, on Thursday, if everything goes well, we will be able to consider it in the first reading and as per se," he said during a Conciliation Council meeting of the chairs of the parliamentary factions and committees on June 15.
Razumkov recalled that bill No. 3612 on the national referendum had been introduced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
A bill on the creative industry is expected to be considered this week as well, he said.
He also noted nominations would be discussed but he did not give details.
