“Today, at 09.35 a.m., Ukrtransgaz received an official telephone message about Gazprom’s cutting gas supplies to Ukraine by 25% of average daily volumes, which makes 38 million cubic meters. Presently, another telephone message has been received about cutting the gas supplies by another 10% - up to 46 billion cubic meters”, he said.

According to V.Zemlyanskiy, despite the gas cuts, the Ukrainian gas-transport system operates as usual and all Ukrainian consumers are provided with gas. He expressed a belief that the gas row will be settled in the nearest future.

V.Zemlyanskiy stressed that the current restriction is not critical, as the volumes of gas consumption make 150 million cubic meters daily on average.
