Cabinet approves boundaries of conflict zone
The Ukrainian cabinet has approved a list of settlements considered to be within the zone of the government’s anti-terrorist operation against insurgents in the Donbas, according to a posting made on Friday on the government’s official Web site.
The corresponding cabinet resolution of October 30, No. 1053-r, was posted on the government’s official portal.
"Pursuant to paragraph 3 of Article 11, paragraph 5, ‘Final and Transitional Provisions’ of the Law of Ukraine ‘On temporary measures for the period of the anti-terrorist operation,’ [this resolution] approves the list of settlements on the territory of which the anti-terrorist operation [is conducted]," the document reads.
“The interior and defense ministries, with the participation of the Security Service of Ukraine, within five days of the end of the anti-terrorist operation will submit to the government proposals on changes to the list approved in this resolution, to determine the final list of settlements on the territory of which the anti-terrorist operation was conducted,” the resolution reads.
The list of settlements affected by the resolution has been published on the Web site of the cabinet.
