The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has said the Sultanate of Oman has simplified travel procedures for Ukrainian citizens.
In particular, Ukrainians who plan a trip to Oman may get an electronic visa by a simplified procedure, using the service on the website of the Royal Police of the Sultanate of Oman (www.evisa.rop.gov.om).
"To apply for a visa, one must fill in a form, upload a photo and a copy of foreign passport, and pay a visa fee by bank card. When entering the territory of Oman, the person must also have hotel booking confirmation and a return ticket," the Ukrainian ministry said.
The ministry says it continues to take measures for the liberalization of Ukrainians' travel abroad. The results of further steps will be made public.
Oman is a state in Southwest Asia, in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula.
