Some 192 settlements in eight regions of Ukraine saw a blackout after power line safety system triggered due to complicated weather conditions.

In particular, electricity supplies have been disrupted to 112 settlements in Kyiv region, 34 of those in Zhytomyr region, another 15 in Volyn region, 12 in Kirovohrad region, 12 in Cherkasy region, five in Mykolaiv region, and one in Dnipropetrovsk and Luhansk regions each, the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine reported on April 2.
