On the morning of Monday, May 7, an Infiniti SUV owned by Vadym Berman, an entrepreneur whose company supplied fuel to the National Police, was fired upon outside his house on 5/9 Tsytadelna Street in Kyiv.
Law enforcers link the incident with the competition in the gasoline market. Berman is the CEO of TD Wesma LLC, which, according to public sources, is often declared a winner in biddings for the supply of fuel and lubricants to the National Policy and the State Management of Affairs, the online newspaper Strana.ua wrote, referring to its sources in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
