The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has instructed Ukrainian diplomats working in Senegal, Turkey, the United Kingdom and China to take urgent measures to repatriate bodies of two Ukrainian sailors died at the Atlantic Harmony vessel.

Head of Department of Consular Support at the Department of Consular Services of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Vasyl Kyrylych says the measures envisage addressing the issue in cooperation with the shipowner Digital Epoch LTD, the operator of the vessel Istambul Denizcilik Ve deniz, and the Embassy of Ukraine in Senegal, to provide urgent repatriation of the bodies, ensuring the safety and further transfer of the seamen's belongings to their families.
In addition, the Embassy of Ukraine in Senegal was instructed "to send a consular officer to the scene, to find out the current status of the investigation and its results.
It was earlier reported in social media that two Ukrainian sailors died at the Atlantic Harmony ship off the coast of Cape Verde.
