Mariupol not attacked by militants in last 24 hours

"We are taking all measures to strengthen the defense of this seaside town. In turn, the enemy is conducting aerial reconnaissance, actively using drones," the press center reported.

It also reported that the insurgents had tried to destroy a communications facility located on territory controlled by Ukrainian forces.

"The attempt turned out to futile. The attack of sabotage and intelligence groups of the enemy was repulsed, and no casualties among Ukrainian soldiers were reported," the press center said.

Over the last day, six Ukrainian soldiers have been injured in the conflict zone. All of the wounded have been hospitalized, the press center said.
