4,000 civilians leave conflict zone in last day
More than 3,600 civilians over the last 24 hour have left parts of Ukraine’s Donbas region under the control of Russian-backed militants, National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"The trend of an increase in the flow of migrants from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions continues. Thus, more than 3,600 of forced migrants were temporarily relocated in last day," Lysenko said.
"In total, more than 487,000 people have been temporarily relocated in other regions of Ukraine," he added.
