"The initial stage includes a two-hour program consisting of news, socio-political, cultural and educational programs," the report reads.
"It will possible to listen to the Russian programs from Kyiv either on the air at a frequency of 1431 kHz, or on the Internet from 1700 to 1900 Kyiv time,” the state committee said.
“The Ukrainian radio programs can be heard both in Ukraine and in Russia. A powerful 800-kW transmitter will provide coverage in Ukraine and the European part of the Russian Federation," the state committee said.
"Internet users can listen to online radio programs. A schedule of programs in Russian is also published there. There is also an archive of programs that can be listened to by users at any time," according to the report.
"The foreign broadcasting network is being developed to form a positive image of Ukraine, to report on its international cooperation, the success of reforms, and its investment and tourism opportunities," said the chairman of the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, Oleh Nalyvaiko.
