Ukraine's national football team have turned down a booking in the "Moskva" [Moscow] hotel located in the city of Zlín, Czech Republic, ahead of their away game against the Czech rivals in the 1st round of the UEFA Nations League.

Instead, the Ukrainian football players will stay in two of the town's smaller hotels, as reported by

The teams will play at a pitch in the town of Uherské Hradiště, 30 km southwest of Zlín.

As reported, the Ukrainian team will hold an open training session there on September 5. The 1st round of the UEFA Nations League Nations Czech Republic vs Ukraine is due to start at 20:45 local time on September 6.

It became known that the pre-match preparation of Ukrainian football manager Andriy Shevchenko's team will begin in Kyiv on September 3. An open team training is scheduled to be held at Kyiv's NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium on September 4.

The Nations League is a new UEFA tournament, designed to replace friendlies. The Ukrainian team will play in the same group with the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Games are scheduled for autumn.
