"There are legal norms according to which we must negotiate with Ukraine on the construction of the bridge, as it is a common area of navigation. In any case, the Sea of Azov is shared by two countries," he said.

"Several projects of bridges and tunnels are being discussed now. For this moment, we are collecting documents and waiting for their approval. We hope, that the most appropriate, reasonable and cost-effective solution will be taken on this issue," Aksenov said.

"We believe that first we will build the road during the construction of a transport crossing, and after that we will build a railway line," he said.
