Campaign to support Ukrainian pilot Savchenko launched on Internet

A Twitter storm is being actively supported by the lawyers of the Ukrainian prisoner - Mark Feygin and Nikolai Polozov.

The embassies of Ukraine in various countries have also joined in the Twitter storm. In particular, statements with information about Savchenko have been posted by Ukrainian embassies in the UK, Macedonia, Japan, Armenia, Kuwait and the Ukrainian Embassy to the Holy See (Vatican City).

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Jeffrey Payette also tweeted in support of the campaign.

Ukrainian pilot and Verkhovna Rada MP Nadezhda Savchenko is into the fourth week of a hunger strike in a Moscow prison in protest at her detention.
