Some 146 towns and villages in nine regions of Ukraine saw power outages on October 24-25 after the power line safety system was triggered due to complicated weather conditions, including heavy rains and strong winds.

In particular, the electricity supply was disrupted in 60 towns and villages in Vinnytsia region, 29 in Lviv region, 18 in Ternopil region, 14 in Chernivtsi region, seven in Ivano-Frankivsk region, six in Luhansk region, five in Zakarpattia region, four in Donetsk region, and three in Volyn region, the State Emergency Service's press service has said.
