Patriarch Filaret says no misunderstanding between UOC-KP and UAOC

Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate (UOC-KP) Filaret says there is no misunderstanding between the UOC-KP and the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (UAOC).

"There is no misunderstanding between the Kyiv Patriarchate and the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church since both are for the autocephalous [ local independent church]," Filaret said, answering a question about head of the UAOC Makariy's statement on the issue of unification as if there is some misunderstanding between them in this matter.

At the same time, he said he was sure that disputes between some bishops would be settled at the council.
