Ukrainians will be able to get doctor's notes, prescriptions or medical histories online from 2019.

The Ministry of Health said this task would become a priority in 2020, according to a morning TV show, "Snidanok z 1+1."

Over 1,000 medical institutions in Ukraine are already connected to the eHealth electronic system. The main task of the system is to collect data on hospitals, doctors and patients. The eHealth system should start working at full capacity in 2020.

As reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, passed the 2019 state budget, which provides UAH 92.3 billion (US$3.3 billion) for the health care system.
